I am a London-based writer, editor and consultant who specialises in design and architecture, but has written about everything from coffee to cars. I am a longtime contributing editor at Wallpaper* magazine and reporter at online publication Dezeen. In addition, I also write regularly for titles such as Elle Decoration, Interior Design, CNN Style and the Guardian.
I tell stories about design products and services, and the people and places behind them.
My experience, combined with a strong knowledge of the design industry, allows me to help companies such as Airbnb, IKEA, Morgan Stanley, and Perrier-Jouët tell engaging stories about their brands by developing editorial strategy, tone of voice, and content solutions.
I previously served as interiors editor at leading trend authority WGSN, where I spent three years helping to build and launch its Lifestyle and Interiors service. As well as overseeing all of the site’s interiors content, I delivered presentations at design events in the UK and South Africa, and also created bespoke content for private clients such as Aston Martin and Liberty. I continue to research and write about design futures for corporate clients such as Haworth and SCA.
I studied interior architecture at Oxford Brookes University but began my career in the design industry at furniture manufacturer and retailer SCP, where I spent four years as PR and projects manager. In 2012 I co-founded online store and design publication Lin Morris, through which I sold quietly brilliant, well-crafted products from around the world for over 5 years.
I am available for freelance and contract assignments. You can find all of my contact details here.
